About DMV Filter

DMV Filter is a tool to help you find (California) DMV appointments faster. At its core, the site is just a better interface for dmv.ca.gov. Every 6 hours, we check the DMV website for new appointments. You can browse these appointments on the homepage, with additional filters designed to help you find spots that you might've missed. Once you find a time and place you're happy with, you can make the actual appointment through the DMV's website.

For a small fee, you can access DMV Filter Pro, which notifies you when new appointments appear at a given DMV. These alerts are checked every 30 minutes. This is a great option if the homepage isn't showing availability near you, or if you want to check for appointments more frequently.
